The ASU Events system is the official ASU Events calendar. The ASU events system promotes events universitywide and to the greater public by featuring your event on My ASU and the ASU Mobile App, the ASU Events website, the Herberger Institute website, and on your school or unit website.

Promoting events
Will the Herberger Institute Communications and Marketing team help promote our unit events?
The first place to start with promoting any events is with your unit communications liaison, who can help you get your events added to ASU Events (see below). Events are promoted through:
Websites
All events that are added to ASU Events will appear on the Herberger Institute events page and on your school or unit events page.
Social Media
The Herberger Institute Communications and Marketing team generally tries to re-share social media posts from your unit promoting your events.
Weekly email of events
The Herberger Institute Communications and Marketing team selects three to four events from all the ASU Events in the Herberger Institute to feature in our weekly email of events called What’s Happening at the Herberger Institute. This runs during the academic year. This currently goes out to about 35K subscribers that including ASU community, regional community members and some national design and arts stakeholders.
Additional promotion
Your liaison will reach out to our team if they need additional support.
Add events to the ASU Events calendar
Each school or unit communications liaison has access to enter events, or can point you in the direction of who can enter events for your unit.

Access the ASU Events
ASU staff can be set up as an events calendar editor, pending unit and dean’s office approval. Each unit typically has one editor. To request access, submit a project request.
Have questions or need to request access? Send an email to sarah.a.mccarty@asu.edu, communications specialist in the dean’s office. She can train you, help troubleshoot issues, review event submissions if needed and move events forward to be published live.
